Top O’ The Morn Farms is a dairy farm in Tulare, California (approximately 1 hour from Fresno). The dairy is family owned and run by the De Boer and Locke families. The De Boer family has been in the dairy business in California since 1962. In October of 2012, Ron Locke, and his wife Evie De Boer-Locke, completed their bottling barn and now pasteurize, homogenize and bottle a portion of their dairy’s milk into glass (refillable and re-useable) bottles. Top O’ The Morn Farms is going back to their roots as Evie’s parents’ first dairy, in Ontario, CA, was Top O’ the Morn Farms and they also pasteurized and bottled milk in glass bottles.
In August 2013, 2 of their milks won two prestigious awards at the World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest in Madison, WI. Top O’ The Morn Farms took first place with their 2% White Milk in the Open Class Pasteurized Milk category and third place in the Low-fat Chocolate Milk category with their 2% Chocolate Milk. Ron and Evie were tremendously honored to receive this recognition, especially because large processors throughout the United States were their competition.
Top O’ The Morn Farms bottles their milk in half gallon, quart and “mini” 16.9oz. glass bottles. Available milk varieties include white (2%, skim and whole), 2% Chocolate Milk, 2% Strawberry Milk, 2% Root Beer Milk, 2% Peanut Butter ‘N Chocolate Milk (our newest flavor), Half and Half, Heavy Cream and seasonal Eggnogs (Classic and Pumpkin Spice).
Top O’ The Morn Farms currently sells their farm fresh milk through their home delivery service, local retailers and larger retailers, like Albertsons Grocery Stores, in the Central Valley, Central Coast and High Desert areas and at their 2 Dairy Drive Thru locations in Visalia and Tulare.
